Above is what really happened. Here’s what should have happened:
A man assaulted by three attackers today praised the quick reactions of his fellow travelers. While riding the MetroLink in St. Louis, he was accosted by 3 thugs who wanted him to speak about the ‘Mike Brown’ issue. When he refused, the attackers began to hit, kick and punch him.
But before the attack could go any farther, other passengers stepped in to defend him. Not only did they stop the attack, they made a citizen’s arrest and held the criminals until proper authorities arrived. At news time, the trial has been set for 5 days from now.
Without the quick intervention from his fellow citizens, this individual’s life could have ended far worse.
